Visa Processing

All foreign citizens wishing to travel to Kenya will need an evisa, except citizens from countries who are exempt.

Participants are advised to ascertain with the respective Embassies whether or not they are exempt from the Kenyan entry visa requirement through http://evisa.go.ke/eligibility.html

Kenyan visas may be obtained online through http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html

Documents required during visa application are:

  1. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.
  2. 1 recent passport photograph taken against a white background
  3. A Photocopy of your bio data page.
  4. ICAO invitation letter
  5. Valid air ticket
  6. Hotel stay reservations

It is important to apply for your evisa in advance. This makes the immigration process simpler & faster.

Port Health

International Health Regulations (IHR) requires state parties to maintain effective public health measures and response capacity at designated points of entry.

In meeting this requirement, delegates arriving from yellow fever zones are required to have been vaccinated against yellow fever 10 days before travel. Follow the link https://www.cdc.gov/yellowfever/maps/index.html to see countries that apply.
